China's pork production reached 35.68 million tons in the first three quarters of 2011, down 0.6% from the same time in 2010, according to the Chinese National Bureau of Statistics.
Overall meat production, which includes pork, beef, mutton and poultry meat, reached 54.53 million tons, up 0.2% from same time in 2010. China’s GDP (gross domestic product) reached RMB 32.07 trillion (US$5.07 trillion) in the first three quarters of 2011, up 9.4% from 2010 numbers.
