The 18th World Veterinary Poultry Association Congress will be held August 19-23 in Nantes, France. The program includes conferences, workshops, technical visits and commercial exhibitions, as well as a social program.
Visitors can listen to 145 speeches spread over 16 sessions with simultaneous translation from English into French. More than 400 posters will be presented during the four days of the congress, and one poster will be awarded a monetary prize in each session.
Visits to an animal husbandry applied research station, a modern broiler slaughterhouse, a genetic selection company, France's largest free-range poultry cooperative and a new low energy poultry farm are available Friday.
