Bird flu was detected at a turkey farm in the province of
Limburg, The Netherlands, according to the Netherlands Food and Consumer
Product Safety Authority.
A transport ban has been enacted on eggs and poultry within a 1.8-mile radius of the farm, according to officials. The area has about 25 poultry farms.
All of the farm's 42,700 turkeys will be destroyed.
