The 2015 International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) has been named one of 24 companies nationwide to participate in the Department of Commerce’s International Buyer Program. The expo has participated in the International Buyer Program since 2007. The program brings trade delegations together from around the world and helps match international attendees with American suppliers.
“We are very pleased to be chosen as part of the International Buyer Program for the eighth year in a row. Participation in the program is a testament to the global scope of our trade show. Since 2006, our attendance from outside the U.S. has grown by 79 percent,” stated Charlie Olentine, IPPE show manager.
IPPE has surpassed 440,000 net square feet of exhibit space and is on target to reach its goal of 450,000-plus net square feet. Comprised of the three integrated tradeshows – International Poultry Expo, International Feed Expo and International Meat Expo – the 2015 IPPE has secured more than 900 exhibitors as of the beginning of July and is on pace to have 1,200 exhibitors by January.
The global annual poultry, feed and meat industry trade show will be held Tuesday through Thursday, Jan. 27-29, 2015, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia. IPPE will highlight the latest technology, equipment and services used in the production and processing of feed, meat and poultry products. IPPE will also feature dynamic education programs addressing current industry issues, combining the expertise from the American Feed Industry Association, American Meat Institute and U.S. Poultry and Egg Association.
