The Middleby Corporation has acquired the assets of high-tech manufacturer, Processing Equipment Solutions Inc. (PES). This acquisition merges PES – a longstanding supplier to MP Equipment - into the legal entity of MP Equipment Inc., a division of the Middleby Corporation.
All MP operations currently located in Buford and Conyers, Georgia – are relocating to the PES state-of-the-art machining and fabricating center in Gainesville, Georgia. The combined deep industry and technical expertise of both brands will be marketed exclusively worldwide under the well-established trademark of MP Equipment.
MP Equipment’s manufacturing base is tremendously broadened as a result of the PES acquisition and merger. In addition to its field-proven line of batter and breading systems and frying systems, MP Equipment has long since distinguished itself as the exclusive worldwide seller of the PES-designed and manufactured IntelliJet and MegaJet Water Cutters.
The addition of PES design and manufacturing expertise brings important vertical integration of hi-tech machine manufacturing to the MP Equipment line and will further allow MP to offer customers and prospects a more diverse line of products and services.
