Aviagen recently held its second Indian River Technical Association Meeting in Taiwan, where attendees discussed maximum flock performance and the promotion of the Indian River Brand.
The three-day event, which had 40 participants from 10 different countries across Asia, included talks on local sales and industry conditions of each represented country, as well as workshops on breeder management and hatchery techniques. Organizers said they were pleased with the way interest in the brand has expanded since the first IRTA meeting in 2008. "With new IRTA members from the Philippines, South Korea, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal and Bangladesh attending this meeting, it showed how much Indian River has grown in the last 48 months," said Business Manager Fred Kao. "Not only did product performance improve in customer operations since the last meeting in Malaysia in 2008, the focus and the interest in the Indian River brand has also grown tremendously."
