Poultry health and biosecurity will be two main topics at the 2012 World's Poultry Congress, set to take place from August 5
through August 9 in Salvador, Bahia.
Event topics include vaccinology and the development of new immunogens; official health surveillance and international requirements; control of bacterial diseases; avian influenza: where we are and where we are going; and emerging and reemerging zoonoses: the importance of a working agenda. “WPC 2012 will offer sessions with several lectures, presentations of scientific studies and posters, which will enable an open and objective debate on the issues to take place,” said coordinator Dr. Paulo Martins.
Those interested in attending can do so in advance online until June 29. After June 29, registration is accepted at the event for an adjusted fee.
