Animal health company Novus International has helped launch a $100,000 challenge campaign in to send food relief to Haitian children and their families. Donations will fund the production of Medika Mamba—a fortified, peanut-butter-based, ready-to-use-therapeutic food endorsed by the World Health Organization and UNICEF—and its delivery to Haitians by the charitable organization Meds & Food for Kids, which has operated in Haiti since 2003.
Conducted in partnership with the World Trade Center Saint Louis (Mo.), the campaign aims to meet its goal by February 12. Novus International made the first corporate donation of $10,000 to the campaign and has pledged to match employee donations.
