Proposed swine disease program changes up for comment

Veterinary Services is considering changes to its pseudorabies virus and swine brucellosis programs and is seeking comments on a concept paper titled, "A New Approach for Managing Swine Brucellosis and Pseudorabies Virus."
The swine disease paper provides a draft regulatory framework that would address outdated provisions of the existing regulations, reduce regulatory burden, and combine PRV and SB into one program. The concept paper can be found by viewing the Regulations.gov website as described in the Federal Register notice or on the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service website.
Comments should be submitted online or via first-class mail as described in the Federal Register notice by April 8.
