USPOULTRY Feed Mill Management Seminar to focus on increased production efficiency


    The 2013 Feed Mill Management Seminar will provide up-to-date information on ways to reduce feed manufacturing cost and other essential costs while continuing to run an efficient feed mill, large and small. Mill managers will take away tips and useful information on equipment and maintenance, innovative technology, inventory control, and Department of Transportation, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and other federal regulations.

    “As corn prices continue to rise, managing a feed mill in our ever-changing economy means that managers must continue to come up with resourceful, innovative ways to stay competitive. Attending this year’s seminar will allow mill managers to gain useful tools they can implement in order to remain efficient,” said program committee chairman Richard Obermeyer, Aviagen.
