JBS SA has appointed Miguel Gularte as president of its South American operations. The world's largest meat and poultry processor called the hiring of Gularte a major step to help JBS strengthen its team of executives.
Gularte has a 32-year history in the meat sector in South America, having worked in the industry since he earned a veterinary science degree from URCAMP University in Rio Grande do Sul. He most recently worked as the international vice president at Minerva.
