To further cement the position of Brazilian chicken in the international market, Brazilian poultry association Ubabef has built its largest stand ever at an international trade show. The stand at Anuga is playing host to 16 Brazilian poultry export companies, and has been jointly organized with the country's export promotion agency Apex-Brazil.
The association notes that while its primary focus during the event will be the European market, the trade show offers the possibility to do business with clients from around the world and is being used to launch a new promotional video called Brazilian Chicken. The stand includes the recreation of a traditional Brazilian roast chicken shop extending to 400 m2 and offering a variety of chicken-based dishes.
"This will be an opportunity for clients to familiarize themselves with the qualities, particularly the taste, of poultry products 'made in Brazil'," said Isis Sardella, commercial promotions director of Ubabef.
The event is also being used to promote Brazilian eggs.
