Rembrandt Foods, a company that focuses on producing egg products for the foodservice and ingredients industries, has opened a new corporate office at the Great Lakes Mall in Spirit Lake, Iowa. The company had been headquartered in nearby Okoboji for the past six years.
The company is hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new facility on September 19. The ceremony will include an egg breakfast. The public is invited.
“The opening of this office marks the next stage of growth for the company,” Rembrandt Foods Chief Financial Officer Jeff Peterson told the Dickinson County News. “We will be providing a larger quantity of egg volume over the next couple of years, both to the domestic and international markets.”
Peterson added that the company decided to retain its corporate office in the same geographical region in Iowa because of the strong work ethic its people possess.
Founded in 2000 by CEO Dave Rettig, Rembrandt Foods employs about 800 people, with about 65 of them working in the corporate office. In addition to having operations in Iowa, Rembrandt Foods has a presence in Minnesota, Missouri and Alabama.
