Denkavit and Vreugdenhil Group have signed an agreement for Denkavit to acquire Vreugdenhil's feed division.
With this acquisition, Denkavit enlarges its position in the international market of young animal nutrition, which is in line with the company's ambition to strengthen further its position in the market, according to the company. According to Vreugdenhil, the transaction is the outcome of its strategic decision to focus fully on its growing food activities.
Vreugdenhil activities will be continued under the name V-Milk BV, as a 100 percent subsidiary of the Denkavit Group. Henk Sonderen, the current manager of young animal nutrition activities at Vreugdenhil, will be the new business unit manager at Denkavit and will guarantee the continuity of the current business strategy.
