Zoetis, formerly the animal health business unit of Pfizer Inc., will make its first appearance at VIV Asia.
Zoetis retains all of the poultry products that were available from Pfizer Animal Health, including its vaccines, medicinal animal feed additives, diagnostics and industry-leading BioDevices, and will continue to research and develop new products and services. Asia will be a key market for Zoetis poultry solutions.
The new company was formed in February and visitors to the meat industry exhibition in Bangkok will be among the first to find out what the new company has to offer by visiting its booth (No. A002 in Hall 104).
Although the Zoetis name will be new to those working in the Asian poultry industry, the company is building on over 60 years’ experience in delivering animal health products and support, said Paco Ortiz, senior vice president, global poultry and new established brands, Zoetis.
“We combine decades of experience with the latest science to deliver relevant, high-quality products and services that support healthier animals and businesses,” he said.
Central to the Zoetis strategy and mission will be its dedication to customers’ success, Ortiz added.
“We work every day to listen to our customers and better understand and address their real-world needs through our diverse portfolio of products and services and our local presence.”
