The next International Symposium on Salmonella and Salmonellosis will be held from May 27-29 in Saint-Malo, France.
This congress, created by scientists of ANSES, the French Agency for Food, Environmental, and Occupational Health and Safety, has been taking place since 1992.
The symposium has been a great success and many scientists from over the world have attended since the beginning. This symposium is now in its sixth edition.
All scientists and technicians interested in Salmonella-related problems in the animal and human health sectors are invited to partake. The different sessions (genomic and applications, antimicrobial resistance, interactions between hosts and bacteria, immune response and host genetic resistance, detection, identification, quantification, ecology and animal epidemiology, epidemiology and public health, risk assessment and control) allow participants to understand these organisms in their various aspects.
The organization of sessions in oral communications and posters also allows participants to exchange views on these topics.
Based on previous editions, more than 350 people from around the world (more than 40 countries represented in 2010), will be present for three days in Saint-Malo.
A significant part of these sessions will be reserved to selected oral communications (more than 50), and a permanent display of the posters will be available for the three days.
Registration is online. The best price is before April 15.
