The Arbor Acres international team joined poultry businesses from across Europe and Asia at the recent Sudan Poultry Show in Khartoum, to transfer technical knowledge to customers.
Arbor Acres, which has a long presence in the Sudanese market through the partnerships with two successful companies, Ommat and Mico, were represented by Stanley Miller, International Commercial Manager, and Mohsen Ganjaei, Commercial and Technical Manager for Arbor Acres in Sudan.
Discussing the show, Mohsen Ganjaei said, “The outstanding Arbor Acres broiler performance and technical support is key to the success of our birds in Sudan. That, along with having professional partners in the country, helps us speak the language of our customers and support them with face to face technical support and seminars.
“We believe that the combination of the best performance and the best support is the reason why Arbor Acres is the breed of choice in Sudan.”
Miller added, “Arbor Acres understands the importance of technical transfer to our customer, particularly in the emerging Sudanese poultry industry. Chicken means the world to us and the Poultry Show was evidence that we share this enthusiasm with customers in Sudan.
“Like the rest of Africa, the cost of the poultry meat production in Sudan is rising, mostly due to the local imports of raw materials and energy cost. The Sudanese industry is not an exception to this trend. Farming modern birds with higher growth rates and lower feed conversation ratios (FCR) is the way forward to building a profitable industry.”
