Hypor signed an agreement with pig producer, Mike Cronin, to produce Hypor Libra sows for the U.S. market. The new agreement means that Hypor Libra piglets will no longer need to be imported to the US from Canada.
“Signing this agreement strengthens our position in the US,” said Luis Prieto Garcia, general manager of Hypor America. “We have been achieving steady growth in the market for many years. This latest development will offer more direct, local access to the newest genetic potential of Hypor. Mike Cronin is a quality pig producer, who provides the highest standards of biosecurity to ensure high-health piglets. We hope this will be the first of many similar agreements, as we consolidate our operations in the US.”
Hypor Libra is noted in the pig industry for its balanced combination of; mothering abilities, efficient production, uniform and vital progeny, and robustness to thrive under all conditions.
