The conference will then take a detailed look at topical poultry health, nutrition and management issues that are relevant in Asia.
On the health front, issues such as Marek's disease, in-ovo vaccination, Mycoplasma synoviae, new technology vaccines and the correct application of antibiotics will all be addressed. The nutrition program includes micro-pellets for breeders, superdosing phytase, AGP alternatives, MCFAs, functional feeds, fiber, getting more from less and phytogenics.
A variety of poultry management issues will be covered including layer profitability, efficiency in integrations, layers in the tropics, getting a good start, Japanese efficiency and saving energy, and feed costs.
Following feedback from previous Focus Asias, the programs have been designed to allow more questions and discussion.
