Leading global poultry breeding company Aviagen has announced new global broiler performance objectives for all brands. Incorporating key information on expected genetic improvements since 2012, combined with trials data and real world performance data from around the world, the new objectives contain important information for any Arbor Acres, Indian River or Ross broiler grower.
Available now from the Aviagen website, the figures demonstrate the performance potential of the Aviagen broiler portfolio, under good management of the birds’ environment, health, welfare and nutrition.
Nick French, global head of technical transfer at Aviagen, commented: “These new objectives are part of our ongoing commitment to review and update performance specifications regularly and in line with ongoing genetic improvement as well as market trends.
“We aim to show our customers just what is possible with our birds and as always our teams around the world are there to support and help them achieve that.”
Aviagen is based in Huntsville, Alabama, with a number of wholly-owned operations across the United Kingdom, Europe, Turkey, Latin America, India, Australia, New Zealand and the USA and joint ventures in Asia.
